I recently purchased this receiver and within an hour installed it into my Ford Explorer Sport Trac. Installation was simple with the wiring harness and dash kit which most vehicles will probably need. The sound is excellent and I love the fact that I can use my ipod through the aux input. I have absolutely no trouble with the controls and the remote makes it easier. I'm running 4 Pioneer 6"X8" speakers and I can't believe the sound quality. The display problems that I have seen other people have not been a problem for me, display is bright during the day and at night and quite easy to see. I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a high quality product at a low quality price.

How do I set the clock on my single CD player?
For most Pioneer single CD players, you can set the clock using the following steps: (THE SOURCE BUTTON IS THE KNOB}
Press and hold the SOURCE button until the unit shuts off.
Press and hold SOURCE again until the clock appears. With some models you will press and hold the FUNCTION or AUDIO button instead of the SOURCE button.
Press the left or right arrow to select the segment of time you wish to adjust.
Press the up or down arrows to increase or decrease the numbers in the blinking segment.
Once the clock is set correctly, press the SOURCE button to exit.

I bought this in dash car audio system; cuz it was the cheaper one available at Amazon. So far no complaints for a basic pioneer system. It has mp3 play back & 1 aux input for ipod or mp3 players. works very well for me!
